Today I saw my first astronaut, Mr. Piers John Sellers. Yup, he is British. Here is some more info on him:

He was eating a sandwich. Apparently he is normal, just like the rest of us. Who knew. I had lunch at the deli he was eating at with some of my coworkers. They pointed him out to me. I think they enjoy the fact that I get excited about these things. They think it will wear off. They have no idea what they have taken on by hiring me. I hope they continue to humor me.
In other news, today Irwin and I decided we should go through the boxes in our office, just in case we were missing anything exciting sitting under our noses the whole time. Turns out, we were. That's right folks, we found giant moon boots:
Yup, this is what we do at work all day. I am planning on wearing these lovely masking tape and foam boots around every once in a while. When you walk in them, they sort of feel like you are walking on the moon. They are a little big though, and they leave foam everywhere. But yea, it got us through the slow Thursday afternoon slump.

Fancy boots Deb. It sounds like you have a really cool job. I am glad you had a good birthday, it sounds like you have some really caring and fun coworkers. Peace.

BOOT-Y-LICIOUS DEB! you finally found a pair of boots to match the size of your mouth. nice kicks.
maybe you can wear those to Andrea's wedding. And Joe - there are not boots big enough to match the size of your mouth. :)
